Purpose and Scope\u003c/h2\u003e\r\n\u003cul\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eThe ETS Human Progress Awards recognize individuals, organizations, and initiatives that demonstrate exceptional commitment to human progress, defined as readying people for the next generation of jobs. These awards are designed to honor those who embody such spirit through strategic action, creative leadership, and meaningful and measurable contribution.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eBy self-nominating or accepting a Human Progress Award nomination, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003c/ul\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003ch2\u003e\u003cb\u003e2. Eligibility\u003c/b\u003e\u003c/h2\u003e\r\n\u003cul\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eNominees may be organizations or collaborative initiatives except for the Vanguard category, which is reserved for individuals.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eIndividual nominees and representatives of nominated collaborative initiatives must be at least 18 years of age at the time of nomination.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eNominees must not be current employees, board members, or immediate family members of ETS and its subsidiaries.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eNominees or nominee representative(s) must be official citizens or legal citizens of a recognized country, and if selected, must be able to provide a valid passport or government-issued identification upon request.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eETS reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify nominees who do not meet the above criteria.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003ePast recipients may be eligible for future awards in different categories, subject to ETS’s review.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003c/ul\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003ch2\u003e\u003cb\u003e3. Nomination Process\u003c/b\u003e\u003c/h2\u003e\r\n\u003cul\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eNominations may be submitted by invitation or through an open call, as specified for each award cycle.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eSelf-nominations are permitted unless otherwise stated.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eAll nominations must be submitted through the official form on ets.org by January 31, 2026.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eWhen a self-nomination is submitted, an email will be autogenerated to acknowledge receipt of the submission.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eIf the nomination is not a self-nomination, the ETS Office of Global Philanthropy (GP) will email the nominee to notify them of the nomination and ask if they accept or decline.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eAll information provided must be accurate and truthful. Misrepresentation may result in disqualification.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eIncomplete or late submissions will not be considered.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003c/ul\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003ch2\u003e\u003cb\u003e4. Selection \u0026amp; Notification Process\u003c/b\u003e\u003c/h2\u003e\r\n\u003cul\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eAward recipients are selected through a multi-stage review conducted by an independent committee appointed by ETS (the “Selection Committee”).\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eThe Selection Committee evaluates nominations based on merit, alignment with award values, and demonstrated impact.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eIf additional information or clarification on an entry is required by the Selection Committee, the GP will send an email request to the nominator and nominee contact(s).\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eThe Selection Committee or ETS may conduct interviews as part of the evaluation process.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eFinal recommendations made by the Selection Committee are subject to confirmation by ETS. All decisions confirmed by ETS are final and not subject to appeal.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eAward recipients will be notified of their selection by the GP via email no later than April 2026.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eETS reserves the right to review and validate the selection process to ensure compliance with eligibility criteria and organizational standards.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003c/ul\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003ch2\u003e\u003cb\u003e5. Award Details\u003c/b\u003e\u003c/h2\u003e\r\n\u003cul\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eAwards may include a financial grant, public recognition, and/or access to resources or networks.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eAwards are non-transferable and may not be assigned to another individual or entity.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eAwardees will be recognized at an event to be announced for 2026.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eAll awardees must attend the event.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003c/ul\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003ch2\u003e6. Funds\u003c/h2\u003e\r\n\u003cul\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eAny financial grants awarded must be used in accordance with the purpose outlined in the award description and in support of the initiative(s) for which recognition is being made. Financial grants are meant to further support work in the arena for which the award is made and lead to a demonstratable impact.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eThe financial grants may not be used for personal debt repayment, political campaigns, or activities that violate local, state, or federal laws.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eMisuse of the financial grants may result in revocation of the award and/or legal action by ETS.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eRecipients are responsible for any applicable taxes or reporting obligations.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003c/ul\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003ch2\u003e7. Publicity and Communications\u003c/h2\u003e\r\n\u003cul\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eBy accepting the award, recipients grant the sponsoring organization the right to use their name, likeness, biography, and story for promotional and educational purposes.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eRecipients may be asked to participate in interviews, events, or publications related to the award.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eAny media inquiries will be coordinated through ETS.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eAbsent ETS’s prior written consent, nominees, nominators, and awardees shall not communicate or publicize their nomination or award status in a press release, advertising or promotional materials or activities, in a Website, or in other any other written, electronic or media communications to third parties.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003c/ul\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003ch2\u003e8. Revocation and Withdrawal\u003c/h2\u003e\r\n\u003cul\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eETS reserves the right to revoke an award if the recipient is found to have violated eligibility criteria, misused funds, or engaged in conduct that undermines the integrity of the award.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eRecipients may voluntarily withdraw from consideration or decline the award at any time.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003c/ul\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003ch2\u003e9. Privacy and Confidentiality\u003c/h2\u003e\r\n\u003cul\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eAll nomination materials will be handled with care and confidentiality.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003ePersonal data will be processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws and ETS’s \u003ca href\u003d\"/content/ets-org/language-master/en/home/legal/privacy.html\"\u003eprivacy policy\u003c/a\u003e.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003c/ul\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003ch2\u003e10. Dispute Resolution\u003c/h2\u003e\r\n\u003cul\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eAny disputes arising from the award process will be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey in the United States of America.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eParties agree to attempt resolution through mediation before pursuing legal action.\u003c/li\u003e\r\n\u003c/ul\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003ch2\u003e11. Modifications\u003c/h2\u003e\r\n\u003cul\u003e\r\n\u003cli\u003eETS reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
