Empowering Excellence: Ida Jackson Woods Recognized on Diversity Woman Magazine's Elite 100
In building its fourth annual Elite 100 list, Diversity Woman Magazine chose some of the top executives from McDonald’s, Best Buy, Fox Sports, DoorDash, Pfizer, Google and the Walt Disney Company.
Landing among those luminaries was an incredibly deserving individual: ETS’s Ida Jackson Woods.
Jackson Woods, ETS’s Chief Diversity Officer, joins a list of exceptional leaders on Diversity Woman Magazine’s Elite 100 list. The list honors the achievements of Black women, showcasing individuals who are “disrupting the status quo in leadership across sectors and industries.”
The women chosen for inclusion “hold a senior level or executive officer position; oversee a major global, national, and/or regional division, subsidiary, organization, or enterprise; and demonstrate a record of leadership success, achieving results on the bottom line and enhancing company culture.”
Jackson Woods was named ETS’s Chief Diversity Officer in March of 2022 and has been instrumental in leading the organization’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging efforts. She addressed findings and oversaw action plans that resulted from ETS’s companywide DEI audit.
Jackson Woods is also a proud United States Army veteran and has earned three degrees: an Ed.D. in leadership and innovation from New York University, an MBA from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss).
“These impressive women are serving as a guiding light for generations to come,” said Sheila Robinson, founder of Diversity Woman Media. “They are not only worthy of honoring, but they also represent something significant — for years, companies have been saying that they cannot find qualified Black women executives for the corner office and boardrooms. This list — along with the 100 other women in 2021, 2022 and 2023 — proves otherwise.”
