Testing at a Test Center
You can take the ParaPro test at a participating school district, institution or education service center. See a list of ParaPro test centers.
Once you select a test center, contact the center directly to schedule your test appointment.
Note: Each local school district may not have specific test dates or test center information to provide if they are not administering the ParaPro Assessment.
At Home Testing
You can take the ParaPro test remotely on your own computer at home or another secure location. The test is monitored by a human proctor online through ProProctor®, and appointments are available 8 a.m.–5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.
Before scheduling an at home appointment, be sure that you meet the equipment and environment requirements for at home testing. If you don't meet these requirements, you won't be able to test at home. Once you've confirmed that you meet the requirements, you can register and schedule your appointment through ProProctor.
Test Retake Policy
Whether you retake the test at home or at a test center, you cannot retake a ParaPro Assessment within 28 days of your test date. You must wait 28 days before taking the test again. For example, if you take the test on the first of the month, you cannot take it again until the 29th day of the month. If you violate this restriction, the score from your retest will not count and your test fee will not be refunded.
Cancel, Reschedule or Modify Your Appointment
Changes to your registration must be made through your test center or, if you are testing remotely, through your ProProctor account.
Note for at home testing: You must make changes at least three days prior to your test date. There is a $45.50 fee to change your test date.
