Effective July 1, 2016, the ETS Personal Potential Index will be discontinued. Anyone who desires to send an ETS PPI Evaluation Report must do so before July 1, 2016.
Grades, transcripts and test scores provide a solid understanding of an applicant's academic performance, but don't reflect the noncognitive skills or core personal attributes that provide a more complete picture of an applicant's potential for success. A powerful, web-based admissions tool, the ETS® Personal Potential Index (ETS® PPI) helps programs make better admissions decisions by providing standardized, applicant-specific information on core personal attributes that graduate deans and faculty have identified as important for success in graduate study. These include: knowledge and creativity, resilience, communication skills, planning and organization, teamwork, and ethics and integrity.
In less than 15 minutes, evaluators can provide their assessment of an applicant's personal attributes — enabling applicants to then share this feedback quickly and easily with multiple institutions.
