Section 207 of Title II requires the annual preparation and submission of three different reports on teacher preparation and licensing:
- From institutions to their state
- From the states to the U.S. Secretary of Education
- From the Secretary of Education to Congress and the public
Submission of the required institutional and state pass rates is a complex process. To help institutions comply with Higher Education Act (HEA) Title II reporting rules, ETS offers Title II reporting services. ETS uses a specially tailored database system to track the evolution of testing and passing score requirements for each license in each state, eliminating the possibility of error in the passing rates and helping institutions to ensure accuracy in reporting to their state.
