Jennifer Carney has over 20 years of experience in teaching at the high school level and over 15 years as an adjunct professor at Pennsylvania State University Altoona. Jennifer graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematics and Master’s in Education Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University. She has also been working as a test prep coaching specialist for over 5 years. She lives in central Pennsylvania with her family.
Carrie Edell has 12 years of experience in fifth- and sixth-grade classrooms as both an elementary school teacher and a middle school math teacher in the Philadelphia, Pa. and Washington, D.C. areas. In addition to a classroom teacher, she also worked as a project manager and primary author for an online math course and was a lead on the Praxis Learning Paths Elementary Mathematics content team. She’s a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where she received a B.S. in elementary education.
Symantha Muñoz O'Byrne has 20 years of classroom experience teaching primary and secondary mathematics and social studies in Georgia and Florida. She spent the last 3 years working with teachers pursuing certification and supporting students in virtual learning environments. In addition to her passion for working with learners, Symantha has created and implemented mathematics and reading test-prep courses for the state of California. She loves developing deep conceptual understandings of mathematics and using inquiry-based practices to learn. Symantha lives in Georgia with her husband, son and fur baby.
