The PPAT® Assessment has been adopted as an option for South Carolina's preparation providers to use with teacher candidates completing an approved program. If the institution chooses to use the PPAT assessment, the state will then accept a successful score for certification purposes. Only teacher candidates completing a preparation program which requires the PPAT assessment should register for this assessment.
