For the Elementary Mathematics course, skilled coaches are available to provide personalized, targeted instruction and guidance. Schedule a one-on-one session at your convenience and let your coach know in advance the areas where you need the most help. Coaching is conducted via Zoom^® in 1-hour sessions on weekdays, evenings and some weekends.

Buy a course and coaching bundle at a discount when you register for your test or at any time in the Praxis Store. You can also add 1 hour or 5 hours of coaching while taking the Elementary Mathematics course.

About the coaches

Jennifer Carney has over 20 years of experience in teaching at the high school level and over 15 years as an adjunct professor at Pennsylvania State University Altoona. Jennifer graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematics and Master’s in Education Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University. She has also been working as a test prep coaching specialist for over 5 years. She lives in central Pennsylvania with her family.

Symantha Muñoz O'Byrne has 20 years of classroom experience teaching primary and secondary mathematics and social studies in Georgia and Florida. She spent the last 3 years working with teachers pursuing certification and supporting students in virtual learning environments. In addition to her passion for working with learners, Symantha has created and implemented mathematics and reading test-prep courses for the state of California. She loves developing deep conceptual understandings of mathematics and using inquiry-based practices to learn. Symantha lives in Georgia with her husband, son and fur baby.
