You should consult with the educator preparation program you are attending to determine if taking any of the standardized tests listed below is required for program admission or completion.
Find your licensure area below to determine which test(s) you need to take and see the minimum qualifying score. To learn more about a specific test, click the test title. Once you know your test(s), find out how to register for Praxis® tests and read the Praxis test retake policy.
In general, unless it is specifically stated that a calculator is permitted or required for a particular test, calculators may not be used on any Praxis tests (see Calculator Use).
Candidates should consult with the educator preparation program they are attending to determine if taking the Praxis® Core Academic Skills for Educators (Core) tests are required for admission or program completion.
Wisconsin education preparation programs may continue to accept passing scores on the Core Academic Skills for Educators tests, Reading (5712), Writing (5722) and Mathematics (5732) through August 31, 2024.

Prior to taking any test, teachers seeking an additional license via the content test pathway should review the Additional Subject Area Certification section of the Educator Licensing website or contact the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to determine eligibility.
