Reginald M. Gooch

Reggie Gooch is a research project manager in the ETS Research Institute. His work centers on personalized assessment, higher education, culturally responsive assessments, and language learning. He holds a B.A. in international studies from the University of Washington and an M.A. in second language education from McGill University. His research at McGill focused on how second language learners acquire new sounds and the role of corrective feedback in pronunciation teaching.

Prior to ETS, he worked as a test developer, an instructional designer, and a teacher of English as a Foreign Language. His work has appeared in academic journals, book chapters, major conferences, and has been recognized by the American Educational Research Association through the Jamal Abedi Best Paper Award.
