Mei-Jang Lin is a senior data analysis/computational research specialist in the National and International Assessments group in the Research & Development division at ETS. She earned an M.S. in statistics from Rutgers in 1990 and a B.S. in psychology from National ChengChi University in Taipei, Taiwan.
At ETS, she has been involved in several projects, such as scaling and conditioning for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), NAEP field test, NAEP summary data tables, quality control programs for the NAEP database, and plausibility analysis. In addition to NAEP projects, Lin has also worked on the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) International Data Explorer and the Progress in International Reading Literacy Study and the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study international assessments. She has also conducted data analysis on international assessments such as the Skills Toward Employability and Productivity (STEP) program, international STEP skill measurement surveys through the World Bank, and the PISA Young Adult Follow-Up Study.
