Cailey Thiessen is an assessment specialist I in the ETS Research Institute. Currently she works on the Spanish Translation team for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). Her work at ETS consists primarily of translatability, fairness, and editorial reviews as English test items are translated and prepared for administration.
Prior to working with ETS, Cailey was a freelance translator, writer, and editor. She worked for a variety of clients, from writing college ranking lists, language learning blogs, and literary summaries to writing blogs for pest control and home improvement projects. She is the founder and editor of a poetry and art magazine, Last Leaves Magazine, and the author of a poetry collection called Wilder.
