Associate Vice President
As Associate Vice President, Jay Campbell oversees all national and international large-scale assessment initiatives – including the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), the Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC), and the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) – as well as the successful fulfillment and execution of global research contracts and consulting opportunities. With more than 30 years’ experience working on the NAEP project, Campbell is an expert on federally funded national education initiatives and successfully manages four NAEP contracts on behalf of ETS - Item Development (ID); Design, Analysis, and Reporting (DAR); Planning & Coordination (PC); and NAEP Platform Development (NPD). Campbell earned his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Temple University. His areas of study included educational measurement and reading. He also has an M.A. in Counseling and a B. A. in Special Education.
