James Meadows

James Meadows is a senior research assistant in the ETS Research Institute. He has prior experience in research working as an intern at the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling, where he assisted in background research, analyzed data work, and assisted in survey creation and coding assignments. While in school, he became a private math tutor, helping students develop problem solving skills in their calculus and pre-calculus courses.

At ETS, he has worked as a member of the Test Development team on two international large-scale assessments: the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) and the Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC). Since then, he has worked on various tasks in support of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) program and is currently the IMS champion and Contractor Security liaison for NAEP.
