Karen Parker is an assessment specialist in the ETS Research Institute. She is a former elementary and middle school mathematics teacher with over two decades of experience in designing standards-aligned assessments and curricula. She is currently a test developer for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) mathematics assessment and has developed assessment items and tasks, assembled test forms, and managed item pools for the program. Karen earned her M.Ed. in mathematics education from Rutgers University and her B.S. in elementary education from The College of New Jersey.
