Nuo Xi is director of psychometrics and data analysis in the ETS Research Institute. She received a Ph.D. in quantitative psychology, an M.S. in statistics, and an M.A. in quantitative psychology from Ohio State University. She also has a B.S. in statistics from Peking University in Beijing, China.
Nuo has 15 years of experience leading large-scale assessment programs within K–12 and higher education contexts, including SAT, PSAT, EXADEP, TOEIC, and NAEP. She currently works in the National and International Assessment center at ETS. Her areas of specialization encompass assessment design, process data analysis, and item response theory (IRT)-based latent regression modeling.
