Rupal Patel is a deputy project director in the ETS Research Institute. Specifically, she is deputy project director for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) Platform Development contract. Previously, she was deputy project director for the NAEP Planning and Coordinator contract. Prior to joining NAEP, she was a director of operations and provided direct leadership to the ETS Contact Center and Resolutions teams to meet objectives and deliverables for College Board, Smarter Balanced, and ETS brand programs. She has received multiple awards that have focused on her exemplary ability to lead operations and process teams. Rupal has expertise in leading large teams, planning work to complete activities timely and effectively, summarizing work and deliverables to clients in clear and concise manner, and focusing team and individual work with a continuous improvement and results-oriented mindset.
Prior to joining ETS, she worked at Arete Consulting as a project associate and served clients such as the Archdiocese of New York’s Library Connections program, The New York City Housing Authority, The Discovery Institute at the College of Staten Island, the New York Public Schools, Stamford Public Schools, Learning Leaders, MicroSociety, and the “I Have a Dream” Foundation. She earned her B.A. in sociology from the University of Virginia and earned her Master of Public Administration with a focus on nonprofit management from New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service. She conducted site visits, facilitated focus groups, evaluated programs, created data collection instruments, analyzed data, wrote Request for Proposals (RFP) and program reports, and monitored elections.
