Adrienne Sgammato (Geijer)

Adrienne Sgammato is a senior psychometrician in the ETS Research Institute. She received a Ph.D. in educational psychology, measurement and evaluation from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009, as well as a certificate in survey methodology from the Odum Institute at UNC-Chapel Hill. She also received a B.S. and M.S. in rehabilitation counseling in 2000 and 2001, respectively from Springfield College.

Adrienne coordinates and conducts operational psychometric work on the large-scale National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) assessment as well as coordinate human and automated scoring efforts. Her research interests include designing and monitoring human constructed-response scoring models to detect rater unreliability. A second area of research involves Item Response Theory (IRT) model fit. She has produced research reports and conference presentations in those areas.
