Wei Zhao is a principal research data analyst in the ETS Research Institute. She received an M.S. in statistics from Rutgers University. She joined ETS as an assistant research data analyst in 2014 and has more than 10 years of extensive experience in educational assessments and research studies, specializing in item analysis, IRT scaling, latent regression modeling, and multistage adaptive test for large-scale national and international assessments. These include for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), and the Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC). She is proficient in various statistical software and programming languages.
