Abstract

Results indicated that the vGRE still did not pronounce some words with sufficient clarity. In addition, some participants had difficulty using keystrokes that were different from those used in screen readers. As much as possible, these concerns were included in the second version of vGRE, and these efforts resulted in the release of the voiced version of the test close to the launch of the GRE revised General Test.
