Abstract
For members of the Class of 1947, the scores on 48 variables were analyzed. These variables included course grades and non-academic ratings received during the first and second years at the Academy and entrance tests. It is suggested that a cadet's standing at the Academy be based on composite scores based on three desirable traits: athletic ability, adaptability, and academic ability. The computation of such composite scores is discussed.
