Abstract

A second factor survey is proposed to be broader in scope than the first. Library research on the broad subject of factor analysis of human characteristics--including factor studies of personality, factor studies using child subjects and comparisons of different factor methods--resulted in the following proposals: 1) abandon for several years plans for a survey in the field of personality; 2) write a memorandum covering personality tests suitable for test programs, including differential prediction; and 3) embark on a survey of factor studies using child subjects.
