Abstract
Separate timing of Parts I and II of the Cooperative English Test C2: Reading Comprehension produced no significant changes in the means and standard deviations of the reading test scores, in the predictive value of the scores, their intercorrelations, or their correlations with other predictive measures. Similar findings were found for the study of the effect of modified instructions for Part II which required the student to read the questions about the selections before reading the selections.
