Abstract
Plans for two proposed studies are described. They are: 1) A Study to Establish Factors in the Area of Perception of Gestalts to be done during 3 hours of testing at Morgan State College in Baltimore, MD; and 2) A Study to Establish Factors in the Integration-Judgment-Planning Area, probably to be done during 3 hours of testing using 600 entering freshmen at Yale University. The factors to be studied, the source of the information, (test to be used), and the time to be allotted for each part of the test are proposed for each study. Factors to be studied in Study I are deduction, verbal, space, visualization, perceptual speed, induction, perception of gestalts, and flexibility of gestalts; Factors to be studied in Study II are deduction, verbal comprehension, space, perceptual speed, integration, practical judgment, and planning.
