Abstract
This paper was read at American Psychological Association Meetings at San Francisco on September 5, 1955. It reports on a study to compare empirically, under known conditions, the accuracy of a number of methods for assessing the similarity of test profiles when used to classify new individuals into known groups as they might be used in an actual counseling situation.
