Abstract

This paper was presented as part of a symposium, "The Behavioral Scaling of Psychological and Educational Tests" conducted by Division 5 of the American Psychological Association and the Psychometric Society. A method for determination of scales is outlined and a vocabulary experimental trial of the method is described. It is suggested the results indicate a definite validity to the approach for behavioral determination of scales for psychological and educational tests.
