Abstract
This paper discusses the ambiguity of the term "spatial relations test." It mentions some of the difficulties of defining spatial factors and suggests the value of nonfactorial methods. It describes a study based on observations of a group discussion, and relates the findings of this study to other studies of spatial relations tests and to a logical analysis of problem solving.
