Abstract

This paper was presented at the American Psychological Association Meetings in Chicago in September 1960. This paper describes an initial phase of a research project, which attempted to determine the extent to which perceived similarities and differences expressed in political judgments of various kinds are related to agreements and disagreements about basic social values.
