Abstract

This report describes recent progress on the College Student Characteristics Study, originally known as the Sloan Study. It is not a complete history of the project but is rather focused on exploratory work concerned with the development of a criterion form for faculty to use in describing students in terms meaningful to the faculty and on internal and external analyses of this criterion instrument with data available in 1960-61.
