This paper was prepared for the Graduate Business School Admissions Symposium on May 4-5, 1966. The general analytical strategy in this report consists of a differential description of three groups of undergraduates who indicated on a questionnaire that they plan on some form of postgraduate education. Questionnaire data relevant to these themes was explored and summarized: (1) socioeconomic status, (2) intellectual disposition, (3) occupational values, (4) vocational orientation, (5) independence and conformity, (6) extracurricular activities, social values and cultural sophistication.
