Abstract
This invitational paper was completed for the National Vocational Guidance Association "Reconceptualization Project" in August 1966. The author was invited to reconceptualize or redefine vocational guidance in the 1960s and reappraise its direction for the future. The elements of vocational guidance are analyzed with respect to content, process, purpose, and participants. The author attempts to assemble these elements to deal with vocational guidance as an entity.
