Abstract
Decomposition of a document image into smaller images (image objects) is dependent on exact location of the image object. Since an image is usually manipulated in terms of its resolution (dots per inch) it is not possible to determine exact location of an image object by measurement with a ruler. This paper describes the use of a digitizer for manipulating image objects.
