Abstract

This paper focuses on three observed-score methods for linear equating in a Non-Equivalent-Groups-Anchor Test (NEAT) design - Tucker, Levine observed-score, and chain. The methods and their assumptions are described, and theoretical conditions under which the three methods give identical results are presented.
