Abstract
An operational requirement for all testing programs, including the TOEFL program, is the need to establish a period of time after which test scores will no longer be reported to test score users. This paper provides support, both empirical and logical, for the TOEFL program’s current policy of not reporting scores that are more than 2 years old.
