Note: * Asian-Pacific Islanders are included in "other" race category. The higher monthly earnings in "other" race category were attributable to Asian-Pacific Islander workers. The mean monthly earnings of Asian-Pacific Islanders in our universe of analysis were $6,334. There were 114 sample cases of Asians (25-54) who were full-time workers. Excluding Asian-Pacific Islanders workers from this category yielded average monthly earnings of only $4,270 for other races, which included American Indian/Alaska Native and "other" races. The sample size of workers in "Other" race category, excluding Asian/Pacific Islanders in our universe of analysis was only 48.
