Postsecondary Success for All: Building Support for Lifelong Achievement Through Education
ETS and the National Urban League invite you to the 2014 Saturdays at ETS symposium, "Postsecondary Success for All: Building Support for Lifelong Achievement Through Education" on Saturday, September 20, 2014, from 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. at the Chauncey Conference Center in Princeton, N.J.
For the past half century, postsecondary education has grown steadily in value. People who attain postsecondary education and degrees increase their likelihood of also achieving higher lifetime earnings and a higher quality of life.
This symposium will focus on understanding the growing variety of ways that people are pursuing postsecondary education and credentials, as well as the strategies being employed to increase persistence and attainment. The symposium will also discuss promising practices to achieve educational opportunity and postsecondary success for all students, regardless of their demographic characteristics, or their family’s tradition of participation in postsecondary education.
The goal is to increase the knowledge and understanding about the changing landscape of higher education access and completion and to involve stakeholders in building support for greater success of underserved students and their postsecondary institutions.
