Since 2017, the ETS R&D team has continuously provided psychometric and research services associated with training and consultation to the Shanghai Municipal Educational Examinations Authority (SMEEA), the agency of the municipal government of Shanghai in charge of education.
ETS has been instrumental in building SMEEA’s capacity in modern psychometrics, testing innovations and K–12 science education assessment design, helping them assess and educate the student population in a city of over 29 million people.
