How to Register for the TOEFL iBT Test

The easiest way to register is through your ETS account, but watch the videos below to learn how to create an account and register. You can also register by phone or by mail; use the TOEFL iBT Registration Form (PDF) and see “How to Register” in the TOEFL iBT® Information Bulletin.

The Name You Use When Creating an ETS Account

The name and date of birth you use when you create your account must exactly match the name and date of birth on the ID document you bring to the test center. If this information doesn't match, you won't be able to take the test, and your test fee won't be refunded. See ID Requirements.
