Where to Take Your SLS Test

With two convenient options for testing, you can choose the one that’s best for you.

Test at home

All three SLS tests are offered at home 7 days a week. You can test at home if:

• you live in the United States, a U.S. territory or Canada¹
• you meet the Equipment and Environment Requirements

Test at a test center

The SLS tests are administered at an international network of test centers² that include Prometric^® test centers, universities and other locations.

_{2 International Testing: SLS testing outside the United States is available only at Prometric centers. You must be taking a test for employment, certification or entrance into a teacher education program in the United States. To view available testing sites for international testing, log in to the registration system. There may not be a Prometric center in your immediate vicinity. Contact the SLS program at sls@ets.org if there are no test centers available in the registration system. We’ll register you at the Prometric center nearest you. In some cases, you may need to make long-distance travel arrangements to get to the nearest test center.}
