How to Register Once Your Request Is Approved

ETS will send you an approval letter confirming the accommodations which have been approved for you. The approval letter will also outline how to register for a test with accommodations.

Computer-delivered testing

Don’t schedule to take a computer-delivered test until you receive your approval letter. You should follow the instructions on your approval letter for scheduling and registering for a test.

Paper-delivered testing (e.g., the GRE® Subject Tests)

When you receive your approval letter, you are registered. The approval letter will identify the test location and test administrator.

Alternate test formats

Alternate test formats may include braille, large print, recorded audio or paper (for exams normally delivered on computer). You should follow the instructions on your approval letter for scheduling a test.
