About the PASL Assessment

Developed by educators for educators, the PASL assessment provides a solution for measuring a school leader candidate's application of the knowledge and skills that are important for beginning instructional leaders. The PASL assessment helps align test takers, cooperating school leaders, and supervising instructors to drive student achievement and learning.

Test takers complete the PASL assessment tasks during their clinical experience/internship. The tasks focus on addressing a problem/challenge, developing continuous professional development, and building a collaborative culture. The PASL assessment will help determine if you are prepared to enter a school leadership position.
